Handmade lampwork glass beads and unique jewelry!

You can find most of my beads for sale on eBay. Here is the link. If you don't like auctions I am also selling on a new site called Etsy which is exclusively for selling and buying handmade items and craft supplies. You can find my beads on Etsy here.
If you have not seen or heard of the popular european charm bracelets, you should! Almost all of the beads I am making now fit these bracelets. Popular name brands are pandora, troll, biagi and chamilia. Shown above is a biagi bracelet with my glass beads. The brands also come with their own line of beads but the glass ones are mass produced in boringly simple designs of bad quality. Luckily lampwork artists are making our own beads for these bracelets for all you glass bead lovers out there. Check out my eBay sales or my beads page to see my own european charm style beads for sale.

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Mandy Williams and I am a glass and jewelry artist. I make my beads from raw glass sticks, imported from Italy and Germany that I melt in the flame of a torch. The beads are wound on a thick piece of steel wire called a mandrel, which is coated in a powdery bead release so that the beads can be removed after they have cooled. The mandrel is turned in the flame to shape and round the bead after all the detail and layers have been added to the bead. This process is called lampworking, or flameworking.

I have been lampworking for three years and have created many unique designs in that time. I am best known for my seascape and landscape designs. All of my art is inspired by nature.
